A Black TULLE SKIRT

On one of these days “in between seasons”, me and the hubby spent a wonderful day in Bristol enjoying the beautiful architecture and lovely cafes and restaurants.

Along the way we also took some outfit pictures against the beautiful graffiti’s that could be found everywhere.

This gorgeous location, a little street just in the heart of the city center, was the perfect backdrop to photograph my fully monochromatic look.

I wore my ZARA velvet, black, blazer (similar here) with a RIVER ISLAND long sleeved knit top (similar here) and my AMAZON tulle skirt (here). I wore my leather L’AUTRE CHOSE boots (here) and my new EMBASSY LONDON leather bag (here).

I’ve accessorized with my CARRIE PATRICIA FIELD belt (here), new JESSICA SIMPSON sunglasses (similar here) and for jewelry I wore an old crystal necklace from LOVISA (here) and a long heart pendant from BETSEY JOHNSON (very similar here). I’m also wearing a pair of silver rhinestone hoops (similar here), a SWAROSVSKY ring (similar here) and my silver ‘Clara’ necklace that I got in a street shop in Portugal.

For this monochromatic black look I chose statement accessories that would make this whole dark look much more interesting. I kept the colors to black and silver to keep it cohesive and added a little touch of red rhinestones in one of the necklaces for a little fun detail.

This is a look made of different textures, materials and interesting unexpected details.

A monochromatic look only works well if there is subtle differences in it’s components and that’s what I did here: the tulle, the leather in diamond shaped quilting, the velvet, the knit, the studs on the belt, the oversized sunglasses… they all contribute for an interesting and unexpected look.

This is a stunning, all black, look that works well for an evening out but also for day. It can be dressed up or down and it can be adapted to incorporate a bit of color or neutrals: this outfit would look amazing with a white shirt replacing the black knit top.

This stunning graffiti art all over the old buildings, in this ancient part of the city, always make me so inspired to create content and wonderful photographs. One of the most beautiful streets in Bristol for this type of street art.

This whole black outfit would look stunning with a pop of color too: I could just add a yellow, red, animal print bag or another colorful accessory and the whole look would work in a similar way.

This was a look I adored wearing and that made me feel confident, elegant, chic, modern and above all stylish!

I also created a short video wearing this look, on my YouYube channel, that you can see here! While you are there you can check it out and see other fashion, beauty and lifestyle videos on my channel. Check out my channel HERE!
