SUMMER COLOR PALETTE

When Spring, and eventually Summer, come along I always like to swipe my sartorial darker color palette for a more light and colorful one. I love black, and dark colors, but when those warmer days start to make themselves feel I always chose whatever is lighter colored in my wardrobe.

It’s probably because it’s fresher and feels cooler (dark colors attract warmth), and I also find them happier and more adequate for the new season.

For an afternoon out with Joao, where we planned on having drinks and walking along the beautiful streets of Bristol, I chose to wear my Missoni wide leg, beige and tartan, trousers (got them at Tk maxx and couldn’t be happier) (similar here) and I paired them with a peach colored, lace and ruffle, vest by Three Floor (similar here).

I also picked up my vintage Christian Lacroix beige blazer ( a stunning vintage piece which is part of a suit) (similar here) and I’ve accessorized with my Roberto Cavalli, animal print, flats (similar here) and Fendi, brown and oversized, sumglasses (here).

I’ve decided on wearing my Speedy Louis Vuitton bag (here) and I also wore my new Roberto Cavalli jewelry pieces (similar here).

I love that most of the pieces of this look are vintage or from older collections, making it sustainable and also unique. I’ve also worn this jacket which, although is part of a suit,  works perfectly here.

I love that all these pieces are from different collections, different brands and also different eras but still work in perfect harmony all wrapped together by the same beige and peach color palette.

Photographing this look was also an amazing excuse to go look for the gorgeous Banksy and other amazing artists graffiti’s all over town!

I loved wearing this look: I felt elegant, chic and super stylish! An absolute winner for the first warmer days of the season.
