Winter Outfits in Venice - Look 3
Hi Guys and welcome back to part 3 of my Venice Outfit Diaries blog post!
I really enjoy blogguing and telling you all about my outfits and adventures away but sometimes, with everything else on the side like work, Youtube, Instagram, etc, it’s quite hard to deliver a blog post every week and sometimes month.
That being said, today I bring you the third look I wore in Venice for a gorgeous, rainy and cloudy, sightseeing day.
I picked up a black outfit, with touches of red, and funnily enough the umbrella the hotel lended us was also red to match!
I wore my cozyest, burgundy, cashmere jumper from House of Bruar (here) and paired it with faux leather, high waisted, trousers from Maniere de Voir (similar here) and my long, black wool, coat from Karen Millen (similar here).
To finish off the look I matched the reds with the M&S mens, burgundy, cashmere scarf (here) and my beautiful, vintage, large red Lady Dior bag (similar here). I also wore Gucci leather and suede boots (similar here), my Gucci black, crystal pendant, earrings (here) and my Gucci blondie belt (here).
We started the day walking around the Grand Canal little streets and enjoyed the colours and views of this beautiful city. The weather was rainy and cloudy but the colors stunning all around! Perfect for pictures!
I really enjoyed the pops of red and burgundy, of this look, in contrast with the black long coat and black leather trousers. It felt like a war of color and contrast and I loved it!
I also really like the look of the soft cashmere jumper and scarf next to the harder wool and leather look from the coat and trousers.
I wanted to make this look classic but modern and comfortable and that’s exactly what I got: I felt warm and cozy in the cashmere and modern with the leather trousers and patent bag. The contrasts work and make the look unexpected and interesting!
We walked around taking pictures and taking in all the beauty and had a coffee in this little square that was simply beautiful.
It was a lovely day out: we had lunch in a little hidden away restaurent, walked around and I picked up my very first Chanel bag, bought in store! A perfect day!
This was the last area where we stopped for pictures and I can honsetly say it was perfect! Right after we were finished there was a queue of people wanting to take the same picture! We had drinks in Harry’s Bar and finished off the day with a dinner in one of our favourite restaurents near the hotel.
I really liked these pictures where, even in a rainy day, you can still see the beauty in Venice!
I hope you enjoyed this one and I also created a Venice vlog that, in my humble opinion, is one of the best vlogs I ever did and that shows you everything!
