A red PINSTRIPE SUIT

For my Christmas holiday in Portugal, last year, I wore some fabulous looks (even if it’s me saying it.. lol) that I just had to share with you.

This was one of them and, if I recall correctly, the first actual look I wore for a day out of shopping, having lunch and visiting stunning places. One of them was the perfect location where we shot this look: the beautiful Hotel Quinta das Lagrimas.

I wore a satin beautiful red, pinstripe, suit by Sies Marjan (blazer still available here and another full red suit here) and I paired it with my black, patent, Giuseppe Zanotti pumps (very similar here); a white and lace, pussy bow, blouse from Zara (similar here) and my black, long, overcoat by Karen Millen (sold out but similar here).

I accessorized with my Prada baroque black sunglasses (here) and a pair of Swarovsky old earrings (similar here).

I love to wear a suit!

It’s power dressing at it’s best and I felt put together, chic, smart, fashionable, elegant and powerful!

Because I had chosen a colorful suit I paired it with black pieces to tone it down and make it more classy and elegant.

All of these pieces were still elegant and classic, on their own, so they kept the smart vibe of the outfit.

I also added a white blouse to brighten up the look, a little bit, and a fun pair of sunglasses for a cool detail.

A colorful trouser suit is an easy way to wear a classic outfit making it more fun and adequate for an out of the office occasion.

I loved wearing this look! To be perfectly honest I actually can’t believe I have not worn many suits this past year so hopefully 2023 is the year I am going to wear my suits more often.

Let me know what you think and I wish you an amazing week ahead!
