Hello guys!! Today I bring you a brand new post after a couple of weeks away from my blog. I have been shopping, of course, for some fresh new pieces but I found it difficult to find the time to post on my blog. I have found this time away very important as sometimes we need to take a step back and focus on our lives and take the time to rest.

For today's post the focus is on these fab vinyl trousers by Topshop in bright red that make a statement and that I found incredible and essential to my wardrobe.

Ola gente!! Hoje trago-vos um post novinho em folha depois de umas semanitas ausente. Como e obvio fiz shopping de algumas pecas novas mas tambem foi dificil encontrar tempo para postar no meu blog. Este tempo de ausencia foi muito importante ja que por vezes e necessario dar um passo atras e focarmo-nos nas nossas vidas e tirar tempo para descansar.

No post de hoje o foco esta voltado para este par de calcas de vinyl da Topshop, em vermelho vivo, que sao feitas para ser notadas e que eu achei indispensaveis ao meu guarda-roupa.

I'm wearing these fabulous trousers in red vinyl with a red coat, a black knit sweater and black varnish ankle boots. I accessorised with oversized black, studded, sunnies a necklace and earrings.

Estou a usar estas calcas em vinyl vermelho, fabulosas, com um casaco vermelho; uma camisola de malha preta e botins de verniz preto. Accessorizei com oculos-de-sol, "oversized", em preto; um colar e brincos.

These trousers are so fab I can't get my head around them! I chose them in bright red but black was also available. I wanted to go for a chic look and that's why I "ran away" from the black colour. Red is more vibrant, energetic and fearless! It works perfectly with a tick knit to cut through the sexiness of the material and tone it down. I matched them with the red coat for more impact and tied everything together by adding the black ankle boots that match the black jumper in colour and the glossiness of the trousers.

Estas calcas sao tao fabulosas que nem consigo pensar em mais nada! Escolhi-as em vermelho vivo mas tambem havia preto disponivel. Eu queria produzir um look chic e foi por isso que "fugi" da cor preta. O vermelho e mais vibrante, energico e destemido! Funcionam perfeitamente com uma malha grossa para cortar o aspecto sexy do material e torna-lo mais casual. Combinei-as com o casaco vermelho para criar mais impacto e "atei" tudo com a adicao dos botins pretos que combinam em cor com a malha e em brilho com as calcas.

Talking about accessories, how about these black, studded, sunnies by JeepersPeepers??? The brand was kind enough to let me choose a few pairs from their latest collection and these were at the top of my list!! They are unisex and oversized but I found them stunning. They make a statement because of their size and design but also the studs detail. Irresistible!

Sobre os accessorios que tal estes oculos-de-sol pretos com studs da JeepersPeepers??? A marca foi generosa o suficiente para me deixar escolhar alguns pares da sua ultima coleccao e estes ficaram no topo da minha lista!! Eles sao unisexo e 'oversized' mas achei-os lindos. Fazem-se notar por causa do seu tamanho e design mas tambem do detalhe de studs. Irresistiveis!

For the end note I have to say that I'm now a vinyl fan! Sometimes fashion trends can seem unwearable or outrageous but if you know or learn how to style them they can look fierce!
