I just got back from a few day on leave and, as always, I wanted to show you what I've been up to! This time I spent my leave in Bristol as my husband had a few days off as well and we wanted to explore the city. We started going around, just strolling, and ended up doing an amazing and very worth-while visit to the spectacular "Stokes Croft" city area.
Bristol is known for it's young, fun and artsy vibe and we couldn't resist on investigating!!

Voltei mesmo agora de uns dias maravilhosos de ferias e, como sempre, queria mostrar-vos tudo o que fiz e descobri entretanto! Desta vez passei as minhas ferias na cidade de Bristol porque o meu marido tambem tinha uns dias de ferias e queriamos explorar a cidade. Comecamos por dar um passeio e acabamos por fazer uma visita maravilhosa, e que vale mesmo a pena, a espectacular area de "Stokes Croft".
A cidade de Bristol e conhecida pela sua aurea jovem, divertida e artistica e nos nao resistimos em investigar!!

For this walk around the city I decided on wearing something light with a coat just in case. I'm wearing a fun, striped, black and white shirt dress with a belt and I added a red coat on top. I'm also wearing a black turtleneck sweater underneath for the cold and sparkly dark grey thighs.
As for accessories, I returned, once more, to my faithful Louis Vuitton Speedy bag, that I accessorized with white and burgundy pom poms and pink and burgundy tassels. For shoes I picked a pair of high heeled black varnish pumps that I coordinated with a pair of black varnish gloves.

Para este passeio pela cidade, decidi usar algo leve com um casaco por cima so no caso de estar frio. Estou a usar um vestido-camisa, divertido, de riscas pretas e brancas com cinto e juntei um casaco vermelho por cima. Tambem estou a usar uma camisola de gola alta por baixo do vestido e umas meias brilhantes em cinza escuro.
No que toca a accessorios voltei, uma vez mais, a minha fiel Louis Vuitton Speedy que accessorizei com pom poms branco e burgundy e tassels em rosa e burgundy. Para sapatos, escolhi um par de pumps em verniz preto, de salto alto e coordenei-os com as luvas pretas, tambem em verniz preto.

"Stokes Croft" is an area (streets) of Bristol that as become an outdoor gallery and it's walls a medium of expression for artists like the amazing street artist Banksy. We walked and discovered walls and walls full of amazing sayings, pictures, graffiti...

"Stokes Croft" e uma area (ruas) na cidade de Bristol que comecou a tornar-se uma autentica galeria de arte exterior com as suas paredes um meio de expressao para os artistas como o espectacular artista de rua Banksy. Nos andamos e andamos e descobrimos paredes cheias de imagens, dizeres e grafittis...

For this look I wanted to go for something light and fun so I picked this beautiful shirt-dress in stripes of black and white to show off the stripes trend and how you can wear a summer dress when it's cold outside. Just add a sweater or jumper underneath and a coat on top and you're good to go.
I also think that the contrast between the black and white stripes and the red is stunning, don't you think?

Para este look eu queria algo leve e divertido e, por isso, escolhi este vestido-camisa, lindo, as riscas pretas e brancas para destacar a tendencia das riscas para esta Primavera/Verao e tambem para mostrar como podemos usar um vestido de Verao quando esta mais frio. Basta usar uma camisola ou sweat quentinha por baixo do vestido e um casaco por cima.
Eu tambem acho que o contraste entre as riscas pretas e brancas e o vermelho do casaco e lindissino, nao acham?

I got this dress at Primark and I have to say it was a very good buy: not expensive of course, stripes in black and white (spring and summer trend), long sleeves for those chilly spring days, light fabric, belted waist for shape and it's a long shirt which makes it even more fun, practical and of course very fashion. Once again I'm mixing high and low with good accessories complementing this simple and affordable look.

Eu comprei este vestido na Primark e tenho que dizer que foi uma boa compra: nao foi caro, riscas em preto e branco (tendencia para esta Primavera e Verao), mangas compridas para aqueles dias mais frios, tecido leve, cintura marcada com cinto para dar forma e e uma camisa comprida o que o torna ainda mais divertido, practico e, claro, muito na moda. Uma vez mais estou a misturar o "high" com o "low" juntando bons accessorios a este look simples e super accessivel em preco.
