Hey girls!!! After being away from my blog for a couple of weeks due to an impossible amount of work and moving chores I return with a post on Leather and Lace. For this weeks's post I wanted to coordinate this pair of leather trousers, that I bought a few months ago for the Autumn and Winter season's. Of course they are black, as I love the colour and for leather is the most obvious colour. I matched them with this beautiful lace top to cut through the toughness of the material and also to add texture to the look as I was going for a total black look.

Ola meninas!!! Depois de algumas semanas sem tempo para o meu blog devido a uma quantidade ridicula de trabalho e a mais uma mudanca de casa, regresso agora com um post sobre "Cabedal e Renda". Para o post desta semana eu queria coordenar este par de calcas de cabedal, que comprei ha alguns meses atras, para usar nas estacoes do Outono e Inverno. Claro que sao pretas, porque gosto da cor e porque cabedal preto e um classico. Combinei-as com este top de renda preta para cortar a dureza do cabedal e, tambem, para acrescentar textura ja que ia para um look preto total.

I just love a "total black" look! It's classic, chic and you don't have to worry about colour matching. Of course there are things to consider: I try to match different materials and textures to avoid looking boring (lace on the top, leather on the trousers, suede on the shoes, etc) and an importance to detail is mandatory. I chose this varnish mini clutch with a touch of gold to add an interesting detail and the gold watch and earrings are also bringing an extra something.

Eu adoro o look "preto total"! E classico, chic e nao temos de nos preocupar em conjugar cores. E claro que ha coisas a considerar: eu tento coordenar diferentes materiais e texturas para evitar um look desinteressante (renda no top, cabedal nas calcas, suede nos sapatos, etc) e os detalhes tornam-se verdadeiramente importantes. Escolhi esta clutch em verniz preto com pormenores dourados para acrescentar um detalhe de interesse e o relogio e brincos foram, tambem, uma escolha pensada.

I matched the item star, the trousers, with a lace top but I also added a suit jacket with shiny lapels and lace on the upper arms. The delicate details bring a feminine touch to this masculine look and, in my opinion, a wonderful tension that works.

Combinei o item estrela, as calcas, com um top de renda mas tambem acrescentei um casaco de fato com lapelas brilhantes e renda nos bracos. Estes detalhes delicados dao um toque feminino a este look masculino e, na minha opiniao, uma tensao maravilhosa que resulta.
