Hello guys!! I'm back with another blog post and this time it's all about green! Continuing my fab collaboration with www.shein.com, online stores, I chose this gorgeous army green, pleated, maxi skirt for the new post! 
Green is one of the big trends for Fall/Winter 2016, and to be totally honest, I was wondering if I could try it out... 
I've never had many green pieces in my closet, and I realise now, that was the easiest  and less creative option! I thought green was too difficult to incorporate in my closet and that it didn't go with anything I had. Well, that started to change when I saw a gorgeous green fur jacket once in Berlin, in Max&Co, and I had to get it! (You can see the post on this jacket here in the blog: "Green Fur Coat"). After that, I started seeing that green is, after all, a beautiful colour that can work perfectly with many outfits especially if I choose the right shade for me and the pieces I already have in my closet. 

Ola a todos!! Hoje estou de volta com outro post no blog e desta vez e sobre a cor verde! A continuar a minha fabulosa colaboracao com as lojas online www.shein.com, escolhi uma saia longa, plissada, e em tom verde tropa para o novo post!
O verde e uma das grandes tendencias para o Outono/Inverno 2016 e, para ser completamente honesta, eu estava a pensar se o conseguiria usar...
Eu nunca tive muitas pecas verdes no meu closet e, reparo agora, que essa foi sempre a opcao mais facil e menos creativa! Eu pensava que o verde era muito dificil de incorporar no meu closet e que nao combinaria com nada que eu ja tivesse. Bem, isso comecou a mudar quando fui a Berlin, numa mini-break, e me apaixonei por um casaco de pelo verde que encontrei na loja Max&Co. E claro que   tive de o comprar! (Podem ver o post com esse casaco aqui no blog: " Green Fur Coat").
Depois disso, eu comecei a ver que o verde e realmente uma cor incrivel e que resulta lindamente com muitos outfits, especialmente se escolhermos o tom certo para nos e para as pecas que ja possuimos no nosso guarda-roupa.
 

About this look, I'm wearing a fabulous army green, pleated, long skirt by Shein, that I matched with a black, simple, top and a great black leather jacket! I'm also wearing a pair of animal print, high heeled, booties; black ,oversized, sunnies and fishnet stockings. I added a statement necklace in silver and a western inspired belt also with silver details. 

Sobre este look, estou a usar uma saia maxi, verde tropa, plissada, da marca Shein que combinei com um top, preto, simples e um bom casaco de cabedal preto! Tambem estou a usar um par de botins, em print animal, de salto alto; oculos-de-sol, grandes, em preto e meias de rede. Acrescentei um colar "statement" em prata e um cinto, de inspiracaco western, tambem com detalhes em prata.
 

This look works well because it is a 'struggle" between pieces and that makes it work! I explain: the pleated shape of the skirt is romantic and that matches the romantic "statement" necklace. However, it's army green colour is bad-ass and that is exactly why I added the leather jacket. The western inspired belt goes with the leather jacket and the green colour and ties it all together because it's in the middle of the outfit. Finally, the booties  add a pop of colour to this look. It's, basically, a contrast between romantic (with the pleated shape, statement necklace and booties) and bad-ass (with the leather jacket, army green colour, western belt and black top). 

Este look funciona bem porque se trata de uma "batalha" entre pecas e isso fa-lo resultar! Eu explico: o efeito plissado da saia e romantico e isso combina com o colar "statement"que  tambem e romantico. No entanto, a sua cor verde tropa e "durona" e e, exactamente por isso, que escolhi o casaco de cabedal. O cinto de inspiracao western combina com o casaco de cabedal e a cor verde tropa (tambem com um look "durao") e "ata" as pecas todas por se colocar no centro do outfit. Finalmente, os botins adicionam um toque de cor ao look. E, basicamente, um contraste entre o romantico ( saia plissada, colar 'statement" e botins) e durao (com o casaco de cabedal, a cor verde tropa, o cinto western e o top preto). 
 

I just love the flowy effect of this skirt and it's lightness. It "walks" beautifully and definitely makes a statement! It's a gorgeous piece of clothing, and because one can think it might be more suitable for a night outfit, I chose to do a day outfit! Ha, ha! Well, it's just because I wanted to show you that you can "play" with fashion and do whatever you want! It's just a game! Just trow a few "day" pieces and you have a day outfit. However, you can add some others ( like a velvet jacket, lace top and a pair of stilettos) and this skirt works beautifully for a night look. 

Eu adoro o efeito flutuante desta saia e a sua ligeireza. Ela "anda" lindamente e faz sempre sensacao! E uma peca de roupa linda e, porque se pode pensar que e uma peca mais indicada para vestir a noite, eu decidi fazer um outfit de dia! Ha, ha! Bem, e so porque vos queria mostrar que podemos "brincar" com a moda e fazer aquilo que quisermos! E so um jogo! Basta "atirar" por cima algumas pecas de dia e temos um look de dia. No entanto, podemos escolher outras (como um casaco de veludo, um top de renda e um par de stilettos) e esta saia transforma-se lindamente para um look de noite.
